This October, you can experience organ and sacred music with some of today’s best known sacred music specialists. Michael Unger has curated a two-day organ intensive that will feature two additional renowned organists as well as showcase Cincinnati’s most beautiful religious institutions and their organs.

Spend the first day of the workshop with James E. Bobb, who has had a career in leading church music ministries. Most recently, he was the Minister of Music at First Congregational Church in Columbus, Ohio and previously he served as Director of Music for the Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word in Rochester, New York. He has taught at the Eastman School of Music and at Nazareth College.

On the second day, Stephen Cleobury will lead a master class for workshop participants. He has conducted for the BBC Singers and the Cambridge University Musical Society but is most notably known for his position as Director of Music for the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge.

Interested in Participating?

The workshop is open to anyone wishing to expand their experience with organ and sacred music. Participation is limited to the first 20 registrants and the cost is $160. If you wish to play in the Stephen Cleobury master class, be prepared to upload an audition file when you register.
