CCM Gearing Up for an Active Summer

CCM Summer Programs is pleased to announce an exciting lineup for 2013.

Continuing on the overwhelming success of last summer’s Making Mozart workshop, 2013 will see Realizing Rossini from June 17 to July 6, a 3-week intensive for conductors, singers and accompanists under the direction of Mark Gibson and an internationally acclaimed faculty.  This workshops focuses on the craft of Italian opera and culminates in semi-staged performances of Il Barbiere di Siviglia and La Cenerentola.

For the first time, CCM will offer a workshop specifically for undergraduate singers with a focus on Italian repertoire.  Led by David Adams, CCM Opera Studio provides younger singers with Italian instruction, group classes, scenes preparation, voice lessons, coachings, performances, and collaboration with the concurrent Rossini workshop.  The workshop runs from June 17 to July 6.

CCM Wigs & Theatre Hair provides instructors and professionals in the theatre industry the tools and concepts they need to effectively style, maintain, and build facial hair and wigs in the theatrical performing arts. Whether you are backstage running a touring musical, or educating students in the classroom, you will leave this one-week intensive feeling confident in the skills you learn.
